    Cast iron gate block is an element that is installed on starting GEFEST cast iron pipes 500 mm long. Next, the first element of the chimney system, such as a start-transition or a boiler adapter, is installed on the branch pipe of the gate block.

    The function of the gate block is to adjust the intensity of combustion by changing the level of draft in the chimney. For convenience of adjustment of a gate the pig-iron handle is provided. Thanks to the installation of a gate block, it is possible to save heat in the furnace after the active combustion has ceased and increase the service life of the chimney.
